House of Whozuls "The Cells Within" Press Release

House of Whozuls unveils its debut project, "The Cells Within", a grotesque, bio punk jrpg that takes place inside and outside one very unlucky man named Joe. Inspired by Osmosis Jones and SNES era Final Fantasy, players switch between the Macro World (Joe’s human life) and the Micro World (a living ecosystem inside his body).
Battle as germs, viruses, fungi, cells & unapproved medications across organ based biomes like the Heart, Liver, and Intestines. Each alive, decaying, and dripping with micro organisms. The game blends turn based combat, dark comedy, and hand drawn art styles inspired by Ren & Stimpy & horror comics.
It’s a world of body horror and satire where every choice and every infection spreads consequences.
